Invention, inventing, inventiveness, inventors, invent

I think of Invention as being the highest expression of Art.

Higher than Sculpture, for it must swallow sculpture.

Higher than Painting, for it must be attractive to the eye.

Higher than Dance, for it must perform elegantly.

Higher than Music, for without Invention, no Music.

Higher than Mime, for it is itself pure mime.

All the others exist only for human pleasure and understanding. Invention creates the conditions which make those luxuries available.

Inventiveness is the inner voice in the head, whispering of ways that might be cleverer than the present ways, a voice which I reckon should always be listened to and never go unconsidered.

To inventors, working prototypes are personal brainchilden.

They don't have to be things that sell. They have to be things that work.

It doesn't matter if someone (or some many) have independently invented something before you; if you genuinely thought of a working principle by yourself and turned it to physical advantage, you are an Inventor.

Great Inventors are truly very great in historic terms, and are very few. Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo, Newton, Edison, Einstein . . .

But to everyone who invents something however minor or even minute, if it works the way you want it to, then you're an Inventor and you've already done something worthwhile.

I know just a few people who have invented something I'd call fairly important, but one I do know is Malcolm Beare who has created a new type of engine which he's patented and is working on making more and more working prototypes. It's called the Beare Sixstroke and you can find it at www.sixstroke.com

Hi Bruce !
How are you ? Long time no see or heard ! We seem to be marooned up our place for quite a while now.... The house and land has been cleared of all rubbish cumulated over the years. We were wondering if an appearance from you could be possible, as we are a bit alone. Dalila feel a bit isolated locally as I do not have many acquaintances in this neighbourg_hood. As I said before, since you have sold your place like Chris also, we do not have a place to land while in Adelaide. As Thyler has moved out of home, we do have the same dynamics, resulting in Adele being driven to Drew's place at Angle Vale where she stays a week end out of two. In this, she manages to visit her mother before we collect her back on the Sunday evening at the train station or at Drew's.I wish I had a little job to top uo our finances as the time for lodging the application for Dalila's residential visa is fast approaching. We have remove the cat population from Julia. We still have a couple to keep the rat population down. As I might have told you, Ruby our dog has been assassinated by one of the local farmer. We know which one at that!.
Coward little mongrel who has waited that we were absent to do it Life goes on anyhow.... Gives sign of life, as I assume that You have not as yet decided what you are going to do in the future.... Come and spend a day or two here with us as your company is very much sought after....Bring your camera as well.
We are not as far as Broken Hill, even if the destination lack some interest.... There is a caravan which you could use.
Ok, it's ciao from us for the moment to Jonet and you.
Dalila & Erick
